Thorogood HR delivers expert-led training that equips leaders and managers with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to navigate complex workplace issues

 

For many years, Claire worked as an employment lawyer specialising in discrimination and whistleblowing but also advising a range of employers on lawful and fair dismissals based on performance, conduct and capability. In that role, she delivered training to leaders, managers and employees across a wide range of sectors on the legal frameworks governing the employment relationship.

In her training sessions, she created safe and interactive spaces for individuals to question and explore issues, used practical examples to better illustrate the application of the law to real people and facts.

In her role as Chair of Governors of a large girls’ high school, Claire worked with senior leaders over the course of 2+ years to become an anti-racist school. This involved several streams of work and also working alongside well-known and highly respected academics in this field. In 2024, the school achieving IQM accreditation as a Centre of Excellence for inclusion.

Thorogood HR is therefore well-qualified to deliver a wide range of cost-effective and practical training for leaders and managers in areas that impact on employees in the workplace, workplace culture and the achievement of organisational goals.
